FFW is looking for an experienced Architecture Lead, to work with its partner, a major US company from the pharma industry.

This is a contract / freelance 100% remote opportunity, 40 hours / week. The contract duration for this assignment is of 1 year.

For this position, it is required to work on the US EST time zone. 

You can be based anywhere while collaborating with us!

About the team

Cross-functional agile team made up of senior commercial, technical and customer experience leaders building out a new platform in collaboration with a third-party development vendor.

Role summary

The role will represent our partner's Digital organization in a blended team comprising a third-party development vendor who will bring their own developers, designers, scrum masters and project managers to deliver a new platform for our partner. The role of the Architecture Lead will be to oversee the technical architecture of the platform and guide the development partner in the approach to technical delivery. The Architecture Lead will be responsible for defining solution patterns, the use of new and existing technology and overall ensure the technical success, scalability and supportability of the platform.

What awaits you

• Define system architecture;
• Oversee implementation of MVP from an architecture perspective;
• Ensuring the quality and consistency of inventory artifacts for Infrastructure (system flows, data flows, conceptual designs and target operating models), across the Infrastructure domain teams;
• Lead and “hands on” participation of the architecture and design of the technical solution, including the creation of all required documentation;
• Design software architecture of given domain;
• Manage and enhance software/data architecture best practices, standards, patterns and reference architectures to design for the given domain.

What you bring

• A bachelor's or master's degree in IT or any other related domain;
• +5 years experience in a similar position. Fluent with AWS, NodeJS, Microsoft cognitive services, Contentful, Vue;
• Previous experience working with CMS and ML / AI services;
• Current knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations;
• Good team working and communication skills;
• Good time management skills;
• An excellent working knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering principles;
• Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills;
• Fluent in English.
