Senior Full Stack Developer

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be working with some of the most passionate and experienced developers in digital solutions. With +20 years of experience in the field, FFW has become a digital agency with technology itself as the building blocks for the best user experience creations. We are a mix of strategists, designers, User Experience experts, developers and solution architects in 10 European locations. We work closely together to improve client’s businesses and create innovative solutions. We value team players with high engagement and a positive attitude towards change.

Responsibilities

What awaits you:

  • Be part of a development team that delivers projects for different businesses and markets (Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, different institutions).

  • Build custom components and libraries

  • Use and extend already developed Node.js, Vue.js, Laravel (or similar

    frameworks) applications

  • Provide technical solutions and bring your ideas to the table

  • Be an active part within the entire development process by participating

    in the planning and estimate of the development activities

  • Working with Git version control system following the Git Flow workflow

  • Technologies and techniques to optimize the application performance

  • Communicating with development team members in a professional and

    well-mannered way

What you bring:

  • Strong experience in Frontend development with Vue.js, React.js or Angular.js

  • Good knowledge of Backend development technologies like Node.js or PHP (Laravel).

  • Knowledge of REST design principles

  • Understanding of HTTP protocol

  • Write efficient, scalable, testable and maintainable code

  • Strong self-motivation, “can-do” and problem-solving attitude

  • Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its

    workarounds

  • Experience with Git and Git flow

  • Basic knowledge of databases and queries

  • Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)


What can be an advantage:

  • Experience with Drupal

  • Experience with web sockets

  • Knowledge using Redux or GraphQL or Context API

  • Understanding of server-side logic and front-end performance

    optimization

  • Good knowledge of micro-services architecture

  • Experience in AWS or other cloud platforms will be considered a plus

  • Experience with a state management library like redux, mobx, react-

    query, etc.
