FFW is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our FFW Polaris program.

As a Fullstack Developer, you will be working with some of the most passionate and experienced developers in digital solutions. With +15 years of experience in the field, FFW has become a digital agency with technology itself as the building blocks for the best user experience creations.

What awaits you:

• Be part of a development team that delivers projects for different businesses and markets (Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, different institutions).
• Building custom modules plugins and libraries, as well as secure, scalable backend and front end solutions for our clients
• Help bring the development team to the next level
• Integrations with 3rd party systems via REST, SOAP or other necessary protocols
• Use and extend already developed React/Node.js/PHP applications
• Provide technical solutions and bring your ideas to the table
• Be an active part within the entire development process by participating in the planning and estimate of the development activities
• Working with:Git version control system following the Git Flow workflow
• Technologies and techniques to optimise the application performance
• Communicating with development team members in a professional and well-mannered way

What you bring:

• Several years of experience in web development, maintenance and deployment of large-scale complex business critical features
• Proven experience with PHP, MySQL, OOP, Apache/NginX, Varnish, ApacheSolr, Memcache, Elasticsearch, Redis, Git and GitFlow
• Strong technical background in JavaScript, JS frameworks, SASS/Compass, HTML5, CSS3 and/or similar technologies
• Knowledge of REST design principles
• Understanding of HTTP protocol
• Write efficient, scalable, testable and maintainable code
• Strong self-motivation, “can-do” and problem-solving attitude
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its workarounds
• Experience with Git and Git flow
• Basic knowledge of databases and queries
• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)

What can be an advantage:

• Drupal 7/Drupal 8/Symfony/Laravel experience is a of significant benefit
• Experience in Angular or Vue.js
• Experience with web sockets
• Knowledge using Redux or GraphQL or Context API
• Working with virtualisation tools such as VirtualBox, Docker, Vagrant and others
• Understanding of server-side logic and front-end performance optimisation
• Good knowledge of micro-services architecture
• Experience in AWS or other cloud platforms will be considered a plus
• Experience with a state management library like redux, mobx, react-query, etc.
